Zeiss ZX1 Firmware Update Version 1.4 now Available

The new firmware update version 1.4 for Zeiss ZX1 camera is now available for download.

New features:

  • Autofocus with face detection
    o Selecting the recognized face to focus in live view is possible
    o This new AF area mode works simultaneously with both AF-Single and Continuous mode
  • Full-res DNG rendering in Gallery mode
    o Magnification up to 100% with full detail representation from the Gallery when shooting in RAW format
  • Adobe Lightroom™ (V6.2)
    o New Lightroom version integrated
  • Support of the ZX1 Companion App for iOS and Android
    o Remote control of camera with live preview streamed on smartphone
    o Geotagging function via smartphone GPS
  • Support for multiple recipients when sharing via link or email
  • Auto-completion for known email addresses
  • New languages: French, Italian and Spanish are supported

Bug fixes / improvements:

  • AF consistency further improved
  • Battery consumption in sleep mode reduced
  • Support for special characters in usernames for FTPS server
