The upcoming Canon PowerShot G1 X Mark III (G1 X Mark II successor) will be announced in mid October, maybe on Tuesday, October 17, 2017. Here is the updated specifications of the Canon PowerShot G1 X Mark III.

Canon PowerShot G1 X Mark III Updated Specifications:

  • 24.2mp APS-C Sensor
  • DIGIC 7
  • 24-70mm f/2.8-5.6 (approximate 35mm equivalent) Previously reported as 24-120mm
  • Dynamic IS
  • Touch AF
  • Dust & water resistant

In addition, the Canon PowerShot G1 X Mark III will be the only G series PowerShot camera that will be announced in mid October, no more G series camera. Other PowerShot camera like PowerShot G3 X Mark II is rumored to be announced at CES 2018 which begins on January 9, 2018.
