Canon has filed the new patents for EF-S 30mm F/1.8 Lens and EF 50mm F/1.8 Lens. The Canon EF 50mm F/1.8 Lens will be designed for Canon full frame DSLR cameras while Canon EF-S 30mm F/1.8 Lens is designed for APS-C DSLR cameras.
