Nikon COOLPIX P1000 (P900 Replacement) to Feature 125x Optical Zoom

Unbelievable! The upcoming Nikon COOLPIX P1000 (P900 Replacement) is expected to feature a monster 125x optical zoom (24-3000mm equivalent). Keep in mind that the name of Nikon COOLPIX P900 replacement is NOT confirmed yet, but it seems that Nikon is planning to announce a new super-zoom camera this year. The current Nikon COOLPIX P900 has a 83x zoom (24-1200mm). In addition, Nikon will announce a new Nikon D7500 to replace the current Nikon D7200, which has the same 20MP sensor as the Nikon D500.
