The Japanese price and release date of the upcoming Nikon AF-S NIKKOR 180-400mm f/4E TC 1.4 FL ED VR lens leaked online.

The Japanese price is ￥1,287,900 including tax, around $10,000 in the US. Shipping is expected to start on March 9th, 2018.

This new Nikon AF-S NIKKOR 180-400mm f/4 ED TC VR lens will be equipped with a built-in 1.4x teleconverter just like the Canon EF 200-400mm f/4L IS version ($10,999), to replace the current Nikon 200-400mm f/4G ED VR II lens ($6,997). Official announcement is around January 8th for CES 2018
