The Current Canon EF 85mm f/1.2L II USM Lens

We alrealy reported that the upcoming Canon EF 85mm f/1.4L IS USM Lens will be announced at the end of August 2017. According to the CanonRumors, the new Canon EF 85mm f/1.4L IS USM Lens will have 4 stop image stabilization, very fast AF and the same styling as the new EF 35mm f/1.4L II ($1,699), and it will be priced between the current EF 85 f/1.2L II ($1,899) and the EF 85mm f/1.8 ($369). And this new Canon EF 85mm f/1.4L IS will NOT replace the current EF 85mm f/1.2L II, so the Canon EF 85mm f/1.2L II will remain in the current EF line.

Canon EF 85mm f/1.4L IS USM Lens Rumored Specs:

  • 4 stop image stabilization
  • Flourine coating
  • 1 moulded aspherical element
  • 9 aperture blades
  • Very Fast AF
  • Same styling as the new EF 35mm f/1.4L II

In addition, Canon will probably announce the Canon EOS M20 mirrorless camera along with Canon EF 85mm f/1.4L IS USM Lens.
