Sigma issued a press release indicating that they will announce a new lens during the 2017 PDN PhotoPlus Expo show, which will run from October 26-28 at the Jacob Javits Convention Center in New York City. The rumor mill said that Sigma will announce a new 70-200mm f/2.8 DG OS HSM Sports lens to replace the current 70-200mm f/2.8 EX DG APO OS HSM lens ($1,299) in late Octerber, available for Canon, Nikon and Sigma mounts. So we can expect the Sigma 70-200mm f/2.8 DG OS HSM Sports lens to be announced at PhotoPlus 2017.

Sigma Reveals its PDN PhotoPlus Expo 2017 Line Up and a Brand New Lens

The breakthrough year for Sigma Global Vision Art, Contemporary and Sport lenses on display; brand new lens addition to be unveiled; Sigma Pros light up stage with new presentations
